· Collaborating effectively with various Architects, Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Structural, and Security Engineers, Project Managers, Designers, and Forensic and Litigation Specialists, also perform takeoffs for diverse budgeting needs.
· Creation of Design Drawings and Construction Drawings (including Permit drawings with revisions and RFI/ASI revisions) for a variety of residential, commercial, office interiors, tenant improvement, roofing, waterproofing, below grade waterproofing, sealants, siding, stucco/plaster/EIFS, windows and doors, storefronts and glazing, seismic joint covers, pre-cast and tilt-up concrete, cast-in-place concrete, building envelope projects per assigned schedule. Ability to handle multiple projects at one time.
· Blueprint reading, interpretation, and As-Built recreation from original construction documents (OCD's). Utilize original as-built blueprints, rough or detailed sketches, redlines, notes, photos, and site verification measurements to complete the projects.
· Knowledge of UBC, Title 24, and A.D.A., as well as familiarity with the SWEETS Catalog, Architectural Graphics Standards, and Interior Graphics and Design Standards.
· Creation of isometric drawings, sequencing details, and risers diagrams. Takeoffs for various types of budgeting.
· Proficiency in AutoCAD, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint allows development of brochures, sequencing documents, phasing plans, evacuation maps, various other forms of documentation, including instruction manuals and business cards for construction defect and damage litigation, along with presentation color boards.
· Document organization/control, directory structuring, naming convections and file management including model and paper spaces. Intranet guides and re-structure of old networking system.
· Strong experience with computer-aided drafting using AutoCAD (spans AutoCAD Releases 10 through 2025, with over 500 hours of trained computer time and more than 600,000 hours of production time), along with proficiency in Office products and an excellent computer skill set. Keyboard and trackball oriented, able to type at a speed of 35+ wpm.
· Usage of AutoCAD, Word, Excel and PowerPoint for presentation color boards, brochures, sequencing, phasing, evacuation maps, documentation, instruction, business cards, construction defect and damage litigation.
· Maintaining of facility “campus” (Compaq and HP) as-built drawings for all disciplines, space planning drawings and databases for space allocation, employees, and location codes for charging to specific business units.
· Creation CAD standards, layers, standard blocks, and details, as well as production tools using dynamic blocks, menus, AutoLISP, and palettes, complete with technical documentation. Custom lisp routines and script files enhance drafting productivity within the office. Focus on document organization and control, directory structuring, naming conventions, and file management, including model and paper spaces, while developing intranet guides and restructuring older networking systems.
